Description: 
Supervisor, Design Engineering using reverse engineering technology and other test and computation methods to produce FAA PMA component designs.

Responsibilities: 
Plan, control and supervise the design of these components for gas turbine hardware using 3-D ProE and CAD systems.
Supervise, define and conduct required (dimensional) inspections.
Supervise design organization and maintenance of engineering documents.
Write process routings that define the manufacturing operations and steps to produce parts.
Coordinate and prepare reports and documents to be submitted to customers and regulatory agencies.
Interface with suppliers and customers.
Effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms.

Requirements: 
5 years prior leadership experience in an aerospace environment. Ability to supervise production of mechanical designs using reverse engineering methods. Ability to create engineering drawings that comply with industry, FAA specifications and geometric dimensioning standards. Skilled in use of computer equipment and Windows operating systems. Knowledgeable in ProE & CAD software and procedures. Knowledgeable with standard manufacturing processes for gas turbine engine component manufacturing and repair.

B.S. Engineering or related field
